Patrick Holloway specialises in international trade and transport law, dealing with contentious and non-contentious aspects of matters involving, among other things, sale and trade agreements, contracts of carriage, marine and non-marine insurance, arrests and attachments of ships and other property as security for maritime claims. Patrick also deals with general commercial disputes, cargo claims, hull claims, ship building and repair, marine casualties, ship arrests, judicial sales, places of refuge, marine pollution, salvage and towage, and bunker disputes and claims. He has served on various boards including the Maritime Law Association of South Africa and the International Bunker Industry Association.
