Prior to joining JWS, Ravi worked at a Magic Circle firm in the UK and top tier firms in Australia, where he advised clients on major information technology projects such as technology joint ventures, system integrations, outsourcings and procurement of hardware, software and services, including preparation of procurement strategies and tender processes. His work in the telecommunications sphere includes network sharing joint ventures, network acquisitions,co-location contracts, roaming services contracts, transmission services contracts, network equipment procurement and management contracts, spectrum licensing and authorisation. He has also advised on the protection, licensing and assignment of intellectual property and moral rights, as well as the provision of technology and intellectual property advice on merger and aquisition transactions, including complex transition and separation issues and ongoing services and brand splitting arrangements. Ravi also advises on media, content licensing, broadcasting, sports hospitality and sponsorship agreements.
